Day Care

The Canaan Child Care Center is a non-profit organization located on 20 Whiting Drive, Canaan, Connecticut. We offer affordable, educationally-based child care for children eight weeks to eleven years of age in a safe, structured environment.

Our program is designed to enhance our children’s social, emotional, and physical growth, which fosters independence and creative thinking.

The Center provides an educationally sound program that works in conjunction with the North Canaan Elementary Pre-K and Kindergarten programs.

Our community-based program offers parents and guardians the opportunity to pursue life’s challenges knowing that their children are receiving quality care away from home.

We encourage children to believe in themselves and to get along with others.

Canaan Child Care Center offers four programs: before school, after school, preschool, and infant/toddler. We are open year round. Hours of operations are from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
